Elegant Elopement just for you two!

Get married in style at our comfortably elegant granite mansion. Though there are no requirements for blood tests, New Hampshire has a three-day waiting period for marriage licenses. It really is an easy process.

You need to book a room here for 4 nights, starting on a weekday, and arrive early enough in the day to run over to our neighbor Marian Varney's house (she's the Town Clerk) and apply for your license. There is a $45 fee, and you each need positive proof of identity, plus a copy of any divorce papers if either of you have been married before.

Our 4-night midweek Elopement Package rates start at $985 for 2 people.

That rate includes:

• Lodging in a Deluxe Room
• Full Country Breakfast each morning
• Our wonderful 5-course Dinner on your Wedding Night
  (Depending on the day of the week, and the number of people staying at the Inn, our Chef is usually amenable to cooking a favorite dish or two for your wedding night dinner.)
• The Ceremony
• A Wedding Cake for 2
• A Bottle of Champagne, and
• Approximately 24 photos taken by a Notchland staffer

Flowers are available locally, and we can order them for you, or give you names of florists. It has been our experience that the choice of her bridal bouquet is a very personal one for most brides, so we pretty much leave that up to her unless she wants us to order it.

The rate is increased if you stay more than 4 nights, if you add dinner on other nights than your wedding night ($70/night), if your stay includes a Friday and/or Saturday night (on which nights packages are not available), or if you choose a Suite or a Cottage. Suite Elopement Packages start at $1,255, and Cottage Elopement Packages start at $1,335. All rates are further subject to 8% NH tax.

To take advantage of these options, you need just call us at 800.866.6131. We'll discuss the various possibilities with you and make your reservation. We require a deposit of half the total package to confirm a reservation, and that can be paid on a credit card, or by check.
