Carter is a large, wonderful suite in its own right but the real appeal, at least in the warm weather, is the large deck off the bedroom. The deck looks across the inn compound to an expansive view of our piece of the Crawford Notch Valley.

The wood-burning fireplace in this suite is several feet away from the foot of the bed so you can lie in the queen-size bed while enjoying the crackling fire or relax on the upholstered Victorian sofa.

The separate sitting room has a comfortable sofa and a couple of chairs, of of which is an old wicker rocker which belonged to Les' granmother. The expansive bathroom has a large whirlpool tub and shower.
