Deluxe room with Shower AND Tub on the second floor in the northeast corner with a clear view of the railroad tracks, Crawford used to be known as the “Spy Room,” after a long-term boarder was arrested for passing on information about munitions shipments from Burlington to the coast. Now it is one of the most requested rooms at Notchland, featuring a King bed and a bathroom with both a shower and tub (and a train that only goes by at noon and 3pm, during the summer and early fall, and no guns or bombs). The room’s colors are deep pinks and greens with taupe tone-on-tone drapes. Near the fireplace is a comfortable love-seat with lots of cushions. There are views up the valley and toward Mt Crawford.
